I never was a fan of such facilities - but this is breathtaking. Plants are various, any time of the year a lot of things are blooming... But most importantly - plants are real. Real shape. Real size. You do feel like in Jurassic park or in Australia or...the succulent garden is breaking the limits of imagination. Grown in Northen... More

Great place to walk and see nature...I wish the price was cheaper for each individual garden...parking is expensive

Just lovely to walk along the many paths and different types of gardens and see spring awakening. Large, beautifully landscape gardens with docents to explain, should you need, quiet to calm the nerves, if you need, large grassy areas to have both vista and place to sit, benches...lovely place to be.

A member of this garden, which enables free visits to member gardens nationally, I come here often and am always delighted and inspired. This is a place that is lovingly tended and cared for by volunteers that reminds you that the world is filled with miracles and that nature is truly amazing. Worth the membership price to visit gardens everywhere.... More

My 97 year old mother gets around in a wheelchair and the paved paths are totally accessible. The SF Botanical Gardens have countless trees, shrubs and plants from virtually every region of the world. The beauty and health delight the eyes and the nose. It was a great visit on Feb. 3, the many varieties of magnolias were still in... More

Lots of flowers and plants and even trees and if you like that stuff you will be in heaven. My attention waned.

Visited in January. Some plants starting to bloom, but better to wait until closer to Spring. Not at all crowded on a drizzly day, so it was enjoyable to explore without crowds. Beautiful gardens to enjoy year round.

The weather was overcast, a little chilly, and looked like it would start raining at any minute. That, however, did not deter us. We broke out the rain gear, and spent a couple hours exploring one of the finest parts of San Francisco. Even though it was January and many things were not blooming, it is was still a wonderful...
