We had a great time. It is all and more of what you here about. We didn't visit every shop but we really enjoyed ourselves. When she said she was tired I felt relieve. Lots of great places to shop and just sit and view the different piers and scenery . However, be careful of the 3-4 people running a... More

This area is touristy with some shops and restaurants. I would say the highlight of this area is Ghirardelli Square where you can enjoy a sundae and shop for any confections for gifts. It was a cool day when I was here on both occasions during my 10 days in San Francisco. Visited the Ghirardelli Chocolate festival one day and... More

Pier with Wild Sea Lions and the sour-dough bakery makes this a fun stop. Yes it's crowded and abit dirty with cheap junk shops. But we found a great seafood Resturant and got on a cable car. The sea lions were so fun to watch. Great place for pictures

If you're visiting SFO then you really have got to visit fisherman's wharf. Many good restaurants and street food shacks, tourist shops , bakeries cable and street cars etc etc , it's got it all. We stayed in this area so had it all on our doorstep 👍👍👍 Definitely worth a visit

Just like the good ole days... walking out onto the pier and the old Carrousel going around, little places to eat, shops, bright lights.. the sound of Seals barking in the background... All around great atmosphere area....

I think it's must visit place for anyone that step foot into SF. Spend your day walking around feasting at nice inexpensive eatery or enjoying live street performances and ever sitting down feeding seagulls. I love this place!

One of the popular lobster bisque from this area is a must try. Lots of buskers entertainment. Good to people watch and spent some time soaking in the ambience.

Fisherman's Wharf is a nice place to walk along the water, but it's very much a tourist trap. They have your overpriced souvenirs and whatnot.
