At the northwestern corner of San Francisco, there is a series of stunning views at every turn in this wild and windy trail. Hillsides of cypress and wildflowers, views of shipwrecks and access to the ruins of Sutro baths, a San Francisco specials memory.

Some great walking areas and terrific picture opportunities of the Golden Gate Bridge but be cReful out there. Don’t go over the rails as the cliffs are very treacherous.

We travelled here as part of a bus tour. It is a area just out of the city which has a good history to it. Great to see that they like to look after their historical areas as well as they do

HI Karen, we've walked it and I genuinely don't know how far it is but if 4-6 miles is doable for you I would say you would be absolutely fine. It is a really beautiful walk and so much to see.
