At the northwestern corner of San Francisco, there is a series of stunning views at every turn in this wild and windy trail. Hillsides of cypress and wildflowers, views of shipwrecks and access to the ruins of Sutro baths, a San Francisco specials memory.

A beautiful place for hiking. Not a very difficult hike, but the views are amazing. You can see the golden gate bridge, waves crashing against the rocks, and the interesting rock formations. If you are really adventurous, you can go off the trails and walk along the coast, but beware of big waves that might knock you over!

I've been to San Francisco many times, but this was the first time to Land's End. It's a great place to 1) hit the beach; 2) go hiking along the ocean trail; and/or 3) just sit back and enjoy the scenery - especially at sunset. It does get crowded on weekends so try to avoid that if possible. We rented... More

A lovely hiking destination. Not too many hills, but just enough to make your heart pump. Nice dirt trail with benches to stop for a packed lunch with a priceless view.

Love it here, Try to go on a weekday as its getting crowded on weekends. I have been going on a regular basis for 20+ years and its getting to manicured. Still beautiful. Park at the Clffi house and walk to the end and back. Take the stairs to the beach mid way. very wild feeling.

My cousin took me here to show me some of his favorite spots in San Francisco, and it won me over. There isn't a whole lot in the area besides a few restaurants but you don't really need much to go hiking/walking through the trails and to snap a couple pictures of the scenery. Plus in the distance you'll get... More

The trails in the park are easy, at some parts you can access the cliffs and have a great view to the ocean and the golden gate.

A little tricky and windy to get all the way up there, but it's totally worth it. Beautiful ocean and Gold Bridge view. A must-do!

We were on a trip around the city and stopped at Lands End. The view of the Golden Gate Bridge and the city were beautiful. I would recommend this as a sight seeing stop.

I have been to San Francisco and the Valley a LOT, but I have never visited the Lands End park. I had a couple of hours to kill before my flight out so I went down to the park around 7:30 AM on a Saturday morning. Getting there was pretty easy since I drove up to coast from the Airport... More

I generally bring out of town guest to other end of San Francisco to see the beach, specifically, the Pacific Ocean. Lunch at the Cliff House, then walk a short path to see views of the Golden Gate Bridge. Excellent National Park mini museum of the the history of the former Cliff House. Nice little cafe for coffee and snacks.
