We came to Murios on a number of occasions as it always seemed a bustling busy bar with well priced drinks, good juke box playing great tunes, friendly bar staff and great atmosphere. Everything you need in a bar!

Not sure why another reviewer commented on it being a good, non-crowded, bar with good drinks and gave it 3/5?! Anyway. Me and husband just spent an hour or so at this bar wetting our whistles and chatting to the friendly bartender (female, dark curly hair). Nice place to rest up and have a beer amongst friendly and unpretentious company. Good drinks including freshly squeezed orange and grapefruit for cocktails.

Def recommend stopping by this place if you are in the area of Haight Ashbury. Its a locals spot; where prices are very reasonable and the pours are great. Nothing fancy just a good time with good people.

The Alembic was overcrowded and there was no chance of getting served in that mad house so we walked further down the street to find a less frequented bar with empty stools and plenty of beer. We sat down, drank a few, watched baseball on the TVs, and hung out for a bit. The bartender was funny. He made a joke about his belly. He said, "I'm not fat. I just have an enlarged liver."

Was pub crawling the haight and found this old place. Very nicely decorated and CLEAN! The drinks were reasonably priced and the bar maid was a delight to speak to and talented in her trade. Enjoyed some PR food that we ordered from next door and they delivered to the bar. As it turns out this is the oldest bar on the haight. We really had a good time and will return here at my next SF excursion. Peace and love and thanks for the Pabst wrist band.
