Start your Presidio adventure at the visitor's center, there's tons of information and the rangers have great recommendations for things to do in the area. There's a variety of nature trails to take, but I most enjoyed the views of the bay and the ocean.

Such an interesting use of land! I loved seeing everything repurposed, but keeping history. My kids had a great time just playing hide and seek.

Presidio has a lot of beautiful houses and it is a great place to take pictures. I would recommend to take the bus 43, you get to see Presidio and Golden Gate Bridge.

Very nice area, full of history, museums and great views. If one have time one can pop into several museums, otherwise one can spend a couple of hours just biking around the area and enjoy the wonderful nature.

I enjoy big cities for a very short period of time, then I have to get out of it all. One way to get some peace for me is to go to the presidio.
