The pyramid building is architecturally beautiful the design is original and sleek. It is nowhere near as beautiful as the Chrysler building, but they really can't be compared - i just Love the chrysler building in New York, i just wish it wasn't called that-it...More

The Transamerica pyramid is an iconic SF symbol & part of the skyline. At the end of the day, it is a building and not necessarily a tourist attraction. The building can be seen from many vantage points throughout the city. The building is located...More

Merely a great looking building from which to take photos or add to your skyline of SF photos. Would look better with King Kong on it. Always impressive to walk around and get a handle on just how big it is. And to appreciate how...More

One is San Francisco's most iconic buildings- extremely controversial in the beginning- was always competing with the Bank of America as to which was the highest building. There's no mystery now- sales force,

It's a cool looking building and it is pretty famous as the part of the skyline in San Francisco. But I went there and they don't seem to let you go around inside. So you can only take pictures of the outside.

Amazing architecture and great to use as a reference point, should you ever get lost. Its a shame they don't have an observation platform, though.

If you're in the area, stop over and check out the base of the pyramid. It's such a symbol from outside the city, but it's a nice perspective to be at the base of it.

Was not loved when it was first built, but now is an icon. The redwood park next to it is a very sweet spot.

The Transamerica Pyramid is located in Chinatown, and it's a very easy building to spot because of it's unique architecture. If you go into the lobby there is a rotating art exhibit, but not much else to see.

I have seen the building many times from a distance. On this trio I was able to walk around it and get a better appreciation for the architectural wonder it is. Worth a look just because it is so iconic.

Financial District
The Financial District lies just east of Chinatown but
can seem a world apart given it’s San Francisco’s
version of Wall Street. The rush of business people
make up a hectic weekday and add to a frenetic pace of
life, but visitors who spend a few hours walking the
narrow streets will be rewarded with fine examples of
historic and contemporary architecture, including the
iconic Transamerica Pyramid. After business hours,
