Visitors of all ages can enjoy fun interactive exhibits which include a stagecoach "ride experience," operating vintage banking machines, a working telegraph, videos and authentic artifacts such as an original 1868 stagecoach, historic coins, currency, maps, and photographs. The museum store features a variety of Wells Fargo branded gifts, collectibles and apparel. Guided tours are available with advanced reservations and admission is always free.

We have stopped in here 3 times over the years on vacations to SF. Lots of western history presented in an easy to understand way. A couple of short films, two stagecoaches, and lots of interesting displays. Well worth your time to find and enjoy.

I work around the corner from this and it was such a delight to find. Many hands-on exhibits and opportunities to learn. There is gold rush history, history of their stagecoaches and more. Located on the original HQ of Wells Fargo in SF.

We spent well over an hour here and thoroughly enjoyed it. The curator was friendly, enthusiastic and keen to answer any questions. The interactive exhibits are not just for children, we adults had fun with them and also learned lots in the process.

Manages to pack 150+ yrs of history of Wells, Fargo & Co, as well as the City of San Francisco and Gold Rush, into a small 2 story space. Excellent exhibits, hand-on things (great for kids), and friendly staff.

Financial District
The Financial District lies just east of Chinatown but
can seem a world apart given it’s San Francisco’s
version of Wall Street. The rush of business people
make up a hectic weekday and add to a frenetic pace of
life, but visitors who spend a few hours walking the
narrow streets will be rewarded with fine examples of
historic and contemporary architecture, including the
iconic Transamerica Pyramid. After business hours,
