Since its' founding in 1995 Biscuits and Blues has made a home in the heart of San Francisco and has served hot biscuits and cool blues ever since. The venue is lucky to have some of the best Blues musicians in the world right here in the city, and has been honored time and time again as the Bay Area's #1 Blues club. For 20 years Biscuits and Blues has earned the respect of the Blues community and has been named America's #1 Blues nightclub by both the Blues Foundation and by the Bay Area Blues Society. Six nights a week Biscuits and Blues works to keep the blues alive with two shows a night. If it's Blues, they approve: Delta, Chicago, Texas, Boogie-woogie, Gospel, Old-time, Jazz, Brass and Soul. On any given night you'll find ribs on the grill, New Orleans-style Gumbo in the pot, and Creole Jambalaya hot off the pan. Biscuits and Blues also serves California wines, local microbrews and their signature selection of specialty cocktails from their full service bar.

AWESOME!!!! The DelGado Brothers were fantastic, the service exceptional, and the food surprisingly good!

This was one of the highlights of a fantastic trip. I don't eat meat, so we were a little worried if I'd have something to eat at a "Southern" sort of place. No worries - biscuits, cole slaw, collard greens, fried mac n cheese, done.

Wonderful venue! Book ahead and make a reservation. We still had to wait in line but it was worth it as we had great seats. The food is southern style- fairly good. The music was amazing. I can't recall the band name.. Seth something or other. Very interactive because the venue is so small and intimate. We had heard from... More

We had an excellent night. Great intimate venue. The drinks may be a little on the high side, but you kind of expect that in a city centre venue. We saw Willie Wilson who was fantastic. Definitely recommend this place.

We were staying nearby and saw Guy King and his blues band. What a small jewel of a venue. Intimate setting with friendly, positive vibration. Guy King was excellent. There are were two shows. We chose the early 7:30 PM show. With a crowd of less than 50 people, the $20 ticket with first come, first choice of seating, was... More

The blues show was excellent with great musicians. Sound was a bit disequilibreated as piano and voice were buried behind guitar and drums. Food was good but overpriced. Service is excellent, prompt and courteous.

We did not have dinner, but some drinks and we listened to real good blues music. It seems more like a small concert room than a restaurant. Everybody were sitting at their tables listening. If you want good music, this can be recommended. If you want to party, this is not the place.
