Since its' founding in 1995 Biscuits and Blues has made a home in the heart of San Francisco and has served hot biscuits and cool blues ever since. The venue is lucky to have some of the best Blues musicians in the world right here in the city, and has been honored time and time again as the Bay Area's #1 Blues club. For 20 years Biscuits and Blues has earned the respect of the Blues community and has been named America's #1 Blues nightclub by both the Blues Foundation and by the Bay Area Blues Society. Six nights a week Biscuits and Blues works to keep the blues alive with two shows a night. If it's Blues, they approve: Delta, Chicago, Texas, Boogie-woogie, Gospel, Old-time, Jazz, Brass and Soul. On any given night you'll find ribs on the grill, New Orleans-style Gumbo in the pot, and Creole Jambalaya hot off the pan. Biscuits and Blues also serves California wines, local microbrews and their signature selection of specialty cocktails from their full service bar.

A great night out

The food is fine - not great - but perfectly adequate. Good house red by the glass BUT the entertainment and atmosphere was brilliant!

B+B is an awesome dinner and blues place. the food is southern style (fired chicken is outstanding) and delicious. they attract some of the best blues musicians around. there is not a bad seat in the house. if you enjoy blues music, there is no better place in SF.

Downstairs, cozy venue. (Holds about 100 guests.) Music almost every night. Often two shows. The best in the blues genre. Really good food....if you like fried chicken, you MUST try this. The service was terrific...very attentive. A little pricey so would not be a place I would go to regularly but worth going. A fun night!!

We really enjoyed this club. It's not slick or modern but homey and 1970 in feel. But nevertheless it's very popular as patrons just kept on rolling in the night we were there. The menu is Deep South cuisine - Gumbo, Jumbalaya, fried green tomatoes and Fried chicken and their chef is good. Our food was spicy and very authentic... More

They have shows at 7 and 9 pm. It is not a big venue. They serve drinks and food. Menu is not extensive what is a good sign. No complaints ! Entrance ticket is 20$. The night we came it was blues, awesome group. Would definately go again.

We say Moreland and Arbuckle here in september. What a show. The venue is great, set up for an intimate concert. Food was very good, was a bit dark eating at the table, but thats all part of it. recomended! Drinks are expensive.

We gad a really grest time here. Dinner and a show. Its in the basement and has a old club feel to it. The show and the music were really good. The food was good. Southern style, awesome biscuits, crispy chicken, succulant ribs. The only issue i had, which kept it from getting 5 stars, is the cost of the... More

If you are a music lover and a food lover, check out Biscuits and Blues. We saw the Chris Cain band - who were world class if you like improvised blues. Think a white updated reincarnation of BB King. You might get in at short notice but best to try and book. The food is varied, good quality but quite... More

This is such a great setting for seeing local as well as national blues groups. There really is no other place quite like it in San Francisco currently, particularly close to most downtown hotels. You can choose to have dinner here--or not--which is mainly a Southern style with items such as Jambalaya, shrimp & grits, southern fried chicken. There is... More
