Almost every time I visit San Francisco for business or holidays I go to Boudin at the Wharf. They manage to keep their business to a high standard as long as I come to SF. As a lot of other customers my preference remains the delicious clam chowder in the sourdough bread bowl! The only point of attention could be... More

Excellent restaurant in the heart of Fishermans Wharf. We had the Clam Chowder in a hollowed out sourdough loaf. Fantastic

Very good lunch location. Very good menu and fantastic setting. The second floor allows for a great view of the bay and Alcatraz. Very enjoyable.

There are lots of good sourdough and chowder places on the wharf but we always get good service and yummy food here. The tomato soup and sandwiches are very good too so this place is worth trying if you like delicious sourdough. There are quite a few locations around San Francisco so chances are you're not far from one.

There are numerous places to eat while visiting Fishermans Wharf and decided to try Boudins because of a note we saw on a chalkboard in our hotel. The restaurant wasn't busy during the Super Bowl so we did not have a wait and were immediately seated. We ordered the lobster, spinach and artichoke dip to start- fabulous! The toasted bread... They have nice sourdough bread here in many shapes - bear, crab, turtle, alligator and the standard round ones. Nice!

We wanted a little snack, some coffee, and a place to sit. We got the snack (fine) and the coffee (okay), but there was no seating available. The best thing about this place is its proximity to the Embarcadero. There than that, it’s pretty forgettable.

We were visiting San Francisco for the second time (first time five years ago), and Boudin’s clam chowder sourdough bowls, was at the top of my husband’s to-do list again this visit. He was not disappointed! As I am not a fan of seafood, I had the tomato soup bowl, which was also amazing. We were lucky enough to be... More
