We were visiting San Francisco for the second time (first time five years ago), and Boudin’s clam chowder sourdough bowls, was at the top of my husband’s to-do list again this visit. He was not disappointed! As I am not a fan of seafood, I had the tomato soup bowl, which was also amazing. We were lucky enough to be... More

On holiday from Australia with the family and stayed around the corner at a hotel which had dreadful food and we found ourselves coming here every day for breakfast. It has great coffee, waffles, and eggs and juice and although it is always crowded, service is fast and the quality of the food and being able to watch the world... More

What a busy hoppin' place. I was afraid my meal was going to take forever. But I was sitting and enjoying my "Taco" sourdough waffle with scrambled eggs and bacon in less than 10 minutes. To get a milk we had to go to another line.

We had the Sourdough Fish Tacos and the Grilled Cheeze with Bacon. We absolutely loved our lunch here. It’s kind of busy and there isn’t a lot of seating but it’s certainly worth a stop. It fills the belly and satisfies the craving for food.

We have been to this Boudin several times and it is always very good and always very crowded. Their sourdough really is the best I have tried.

I always enjoy the clam chowder in a sourdough bread bowl at Boudin, but this year they were also featuring butternut squash soup! It was terrific and a nice change.
