We work with artisan families who produce this fine work of art from Umbria, Tuscany and Sicily. Biordi Art Imports has been in business for 74 years, located in San Francisco in the heart of North Beach.

Under new ownership, this entrancing shop is located, appropriately, in San Francisco's North Beach (Italian) neighborhood. Anyone who's shopped in San Gimignano in Tuscany will recognize the artistry of the collections of hand-painted ceramic pitchers, platters, tableware, lamps, and décor on offer. I never fail to find another stunning piece of Deruta I must own, or give as a gift. They also provide repair work done by the previous owner - what a boon to the clumsy among us. And they ship, too, so be sure to sign up for their mailing list. Visiting Biordi is a "must see" when you're in San Francisco. Then stop by Café Trieste for a macchiato.

I went to Biordi Art Imports, which is located in North Beach area of San Francisco.
They have some very nice Italian style dishes and ceramics/ I in particular liked some of their bowls.

A Classic. A famous SF store - famous for breathtakingly beautiful Italian Imports.
One of a kind, exquisite, elegant plates/place-settings of all sizes.
I love the Coffee Mugs. Yes - they are about $50 each. Treasures.

I visit Biordi every time that I am in the North Beach area of San Francisco. I have purchased many pieces of their Italian pottery. Biordi has a wide selection of pottery and the most beautiful styles. I was in to purchase a platter and I found a very beautiful work of art.

Fabulous pieces, great selection. Loved the cake knifes and the Biscotti jars ~ so beautiful! Fantastic place to find that specialty gift for someone or a bridal gift.The owner was so nice. This is a family owned business since 1946 who specializes in italian pottery, fountains and specialty pieces from Deruta Italy. Check out their website on www.biordi.com. Worth a stop whenever you are in North Beach!
