I really enjoyed my walks around this place. We went to some stores and boutiques, also places to have something to eat or drink. As it was my first time there, I was amazed about the amount of Spanish I saw there. Everyone was friendly...More

If you want authentically awesome mexican food- visit the Mission district. It is a fascinating historic and cultural neighborhood. It has many beautiful buildings and dozens upon dozens of delicious Mexican and other Central American restaurants.

I stayed in the Mission District(21st and Harrison 3 blocks from 24th st) for my SF holiday and I'm glad I did. Yes 24th street can be a bit dirty and it has what every major metropolis has, homelessness but that's big city life. The...More

I love the Mission. Down to earth and real. Full of colour, great food, coffee and shopping. My favourite part of San Francisco for sure.

Although I thought I knew San Francisco, I had an epiphany of sorts after re-visiting the Mission District. After a fabulous lunch at La Taqueria, dessert at Mission Pie, and cookies at Dianda's, I had time to kill. We got "lost" in the immediate area....More

Mission District
From burritos to bicyclists, the Mission is the
foundation for all things hip in the city. Cultural
attractions, an independent arts community, sumptuous
street murals and a high density of bars and cafes
make this neighbourhood a magnet for young people.
While terrific inexpensive food is abundant, its
top-of-the-line restaurants now compete with the
city’s best for fashionable diners. Indulge as the
