Different brewery

This brewery is a little out of the way. They have a outdoor and indoor space. They have 12 beers on tap. They do flights of 4. The beer was decent.

This is the place to go for a good beer. Eat ahead so you can imbibe to your hearts delight. Love their Double Daddy IPA. Atmosphere is dark and a feel of privacy. Staff are great. They have happy hour chili on Fridays too !!!

They just started doing beer tours again at Speakeasy Ales & Lagers so while in SF, we went. It's all the way out in Hunter's Point but the tour is less than $8 and you get 2 tasters of beer while you're there. You also have the option of sitting at the bar and ordering beers as well. We rode... More

Staff totally knows craft beer. The on tap selection is diverse and high quality. If you love beer this craft micro is worth a visit. Bartenders Sochi and Katie were indulgent with their time and expertise. Wish I could give this brewery 6 stars.

What a great place to come. Can't recommend highly enough. All the beers are delicious and having the option for small tasting glasses allows you to try them all. Great atmosphere and love the old school themes. The staff went out of their way to ensure I enjoyed myself. They were fantastic. Knowledgeable about the beer and really friendly. Wish... More

Wonderful brews! All named after something to do with the gangster syndicate /prohibition era. This is a must find when in the bay area. The "joint" is located in what is a very industrial area of the city. You could miss it if you didn't have a person "In the know " with you. The joint was dark dimly lit... More

The San Francisco Brewery Tour...STOP #1 The owner, Mr. Blackcat, was kind of a punk and did a swell job of ignoring me and my bros...but his staff was nice enough. Yeah Mr. Blackcat...go crawl back into the hold you came out of! Being MLK weekend, I started off with the four black beers: Porter, Milk Stout, Imperial Stout, and... More

My first visit, I am a San Francisco native, grew up as a teenager in the exact area, Bayview, as a teen making $2.00 hour. I am now 55, still supporting all local businesses and passing the word along, even though I no longer live in the city! I had a thought to check out Speakeasy on my way home... More

We went to the Speakeasy as we journeyed through the breweries of San Francisco. Located in a somewhat industrial area.. the place was dark and fun. Nice bartenders who poured wonderful tastings of their own beer... my friends like the "Big Daddy" and "Prohibition" while I enjoyed the the "Scarlett". No food served, only great atmosphere and freshly brewed beer.... More

I travel a lot to San Francisco but this was the first time I went to Speakeasy. It's exactly in a very exciting area of San Francisco (near Candlestick Park) so it's not very easy to get to it by public transportation like the BART but it does have a bus stop right out side. The tap room is only... More
