Great collection of items
Mar 2019
Worth looking at the antiques and maybe picking up a souvenir or two. Friendly staff. Towards one end of the Overall Fisherman’s Wharf area so you get away from a lot of tourists and dodgy street performers.

Fish and Chips on Tartar Source at Frank in San Francisco California by Bart Train?
Sep 2015
Whenever visiting San Francisco in California, I think Frank's Fisherman's Fish and Chips on Tartar source cannot ignore. If Bart Train West of Oakland did not have new schedules on weekend, the distance to travel between West of Oakland and downtown San Francisco actually not that far, only 30 minutes ride on Bart Train. The best souvenir shop around Pier 39
Aug 2015 • Couples
I live in SF and I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of merchandise at this store. If you are in Sf and looking to get a piece of souvenir back home - Frank's Fisherman is your place. I highly recommend it- even though I thought the merchandise were more geared towards men but I found myself a nice Admiral hat! It is worth a look.

Nice surprise!
Jul 2014 • Couples
I must admit that I walked into this store only to get a penny for the souvenir penny machine. However, I pleasantly surprised at the high quality, nice variety of merchandise carried by the shop. They carry Tommy Bahama and other high end resort wear. They also sell many interesting nautical antiques and decor items. The owner was very friendly and actually gave me my penny!

YO HO HO and a ship in a bottle!
Oct 2011 • Solo
YO HO HO AND A SHIP IN A BOTTLE! Down on the Wharf (Jefferson St.) walk westward toward the Marine Museum til you come to Frank’s Fisherman Supplies.. I love to browse there among unusual casual clothes, the brass nautical replicas and fine old prints of the sea. The best fun is to talk to Ken about the store’s amazing collection of model ships, the old anchors and other marine antiques (expensive and fascinating). If you are interested, he can tell about and show you scrimshaw, an almost lost sailor’s art. One gets the feeling of an old San Francisco, too, in the building where Frank’s was an important supplier to commercial fishing and the Port of San Francisco. Much to see in that windy part of town and shiver your timbers, it gets pretty cold for which Frank’s has good sweaters and windbreakers. And even early in 2012, the excitement is mounting for the America’s Cup of 2013..I’ll be going there to hear about all that sailing news..
