Not entirely sure it was worth the money. Should've just walked around the breweries ourselves and bought flights.

The tour was straightforward and easy to sign up for. The bus was on time and at an easy pick-up location. Josh was our guide and he was AWESOME. He was very personable, knowledgable, and fun. It was a beautiful day in SF and we visited three breweries. I enjoyed learning about every step in the process of making beer and tasting tons of beers. This tour is definitely worth the price!

Met Josh at original location, which was shut down by a construction zone (and had been for several months). Then had a 1 mile walk to first brewery...that's too far. At brewery, we were able to taste a few beers, but not what WE necessarily wanted to taste. That brewer gave us a quick tour, and that was fine. Then, onto the next brewery, which had 23 different beers. We got to taste 4. Final brewery was also nice, quick tour and a few tastes. Overall Josh was semi-knowledgeable at best. And he's done the tour for 1.5 years but needed cell to navigate between breweries. Maybe the issue here was more about my expectations that actual service delivery, but I wouldn't repeat that tour if you paid me $10,000.

My boyfriend and I want on the Saturday tour last weekend. Weather was PERFECT! It is very nice that they pick you up/drop you off at the train station, as we came from Mountain View and are close enough to walk to that train station from home, so absolutely no driving was needed! We went to southern pacific, triple voodoo, and speakeasy. The tour was really nice- small group (only 7 of us), Greg was one of our guides and he was really funny, personable, and knowledgable. Our other guide was Austin (?) and he didn't interact with us much at all and was kind of rude in the way he cut off Greg during some of his presentations. He just sat at the bar while we sat at tables as a group. We have been on a great brewery tour in Portland, OR called Brewvana and we enjoyed that one more. My suggestion for improving this tour: including lunch or snacks on the Saturday tour (it seems to be a part of the others) or even a pretzel necklace. Overall, we had a great time!

Our tour guide was fabulous. Very knowledgeable about beer and the San Francisco area in general. He was able to give us some great restaurant suggestions and was able to drop us off close to our hotel at the end. I would recommend this tour to any beer lover!
