After making it past the bouncer at the door, you’ll enter a darkened interior with a Tiki bar surrounded by rum aficionados. Given all the publicity as the “nation’s reigning Tiki bar”, I was expecting a bigger interior. The bar is quite cozy, but it...More

There's no sign out front and the windows are blacked out so we almost missed it, but once we got inside, wow! This place really is a pirate tiki bar. I'm not a big rum-drinker, but the Kona cocktail was delicious. The place was a...More

This is a must visit. Atmosphere is nice, good selection of rums, brilliant service and awesome tasting drinks having enough amount of rum :)

The bar was awesome, it has three floors with two full bars. There is a very extensive tiki and rum menu for drinks. It is fairly expensive but I guess for the area it is not too bad. The staff was friendly and the ambiance...More

As others have said, it's almost hard to find. The outside is blacked out windows with the name in tiny font. We passed it the first time and had to back track. It almost has a speak easy kind of charm. Once you step in...More

We stopped by this place when walking back to our hotel after dinner. It is in a plain building with no readily visible sign you can see at night so you will need to look for the address and the burly bouncer that will likely...More

Cute bar with a tiki theme. Lots of good drinks on the menu (about $10-14 each). Was there on a Saturday night and seats were all taken but waited about 15 minutes and some opened. Three small levels to check out, fun little tiki bar.

Visited with a friend for the first time during weekday happy hour. Of course, with the gigantic drink menu, we forgot all about the happy hour deals, so it was fairly expensive. They would do well to pare down their drink menu a bit. We...More

First this is a very popular place. Lines on weekends before 5pm so get there early and line up. There are three levels with bars on the main level and the basement. The main bar is the most efficient and the bartenders seem to be...More

With each visit to Northern California, we hope to visit a new tiki bar and Smuggler's Cove did not disappoint! It's a cozy space, 3 floors, and decorated to the nine's (like a pirate ship). We arrived around happy hour, so it was packed, bottom...More

Chock full of designer boutiques, art galleries, funky
shoe stores, and great restaurants, it’s hard to
imagine Hayes Valley once languished in the shadow of
a major freeway. Its removal allowed for the creation
of an attractive boulevard on Octavia Street with a
community park at its center and dozens of trendy
businesses to satisfy visitors looking for a stylish
respite.

No dress code. It’s more of a dive than anything. We got their at 5 on a weekday, and there was still plenty of room when we left at 7:30.

yes there is a parking structure nearby on Gough & Grove. It's called the Performing Arts Garage. It's owned by the City so the rates are reasonable
