A Block Party Atmosphere
Aug 2019
The party was very cool, with great scenic views of the bay. Lots of people, but plenty of space to put out a blanket or table and chairs. Some very long lines for food at some trucks, and unfortunately, my choice had sold out right before I got to the front. Go early if you are wanting choices for food. This would be something I would come back and do again.

Great Atmosphere
Mar 2019 • Friends
The food and atmosphere here was great. There are a bunch of different food options from local trucks and stands. There is definitely something for everyone. We got there right when it opened and there were no lines until about 30-45 minutes later. Dog and kid friendly!

Great night out
Sep 2018 • Couples
Off the grid is a collection of food trucks catering for a variety of cuisines, bars and live music. Apparently it takes place on Friday evenings during the summer and although we were there in relatively warm September it is still a good idea to wrap up warm. Different food choices was great as our family Group all have different tastes but some trucks had long queues and not all took cash. All in all good fun.

Great night out but wrap up warm
Jul 2018 • Family
Great to mix with the locals, get a feel for the real San Francisco vide and get brilliant but cheap food and drink....check out dates as during the summer this event is on a Thursday night while the main event at Forte Mason is on a Friday...do the Disney Museum on the same day as next door we missed that.

Worth It for A fun Friday Night
Aug 2017 • Family
I make the drive with teenagers from Palo Alto a few times a year

To me, this is a fun experience and a chance to try some different foods in a casual experience. Also great opportunities for awesome sunsets over the golden gate bridge.

Check out their website before you go to see what 30 or so food trucks will be there. Trip Advisor wont allow the link here, but its simply offthegrid

Some well known very good restaurants are often there A16 and Tanh Long were there last week. Great opportunity to get awesome bbq that is very hard to find anywhere in the bay area.

Great selection of Food Trucks, try the Frozen Custard!
Aug 2016 • Friends
Food trucks can be a bit hit and miss, everyone's weird idea of what should go in a sandwich. This selection of trucks however offered a wide variety of options ranging from very good to basic fare. My favourites: The Taco Guy with their fish tacos, the Chairman with their pork belly in a baked bun and Koja Kitchen with their beef, kimchi and pineapple rice buns. The coffee and donut cart made a very good expresso as well, good equipment and a competent operator.

There were plenty of beer and wine options for some of our group but the highlight was easily the Frozen Custard, and this is going to sound very odd: The Burnt Caramel, Extra Virgin Olive oil and Himalayan salt topping on a cup of frozen custard!! As bad as this all sounds it tastes absolutely incredible.

Good wine and beer options and the quirky "trash Monitors" making sure the correct rubbish bag was used for your type of trash (gotta love the hippies in San Fran!), make this a very fun afternoon.

20m queues at every single tent, truck...
Apr 2016 • Couples
Maybe this is great food, but we didn't get to taste it as queuing 45+ mins with 5000 lemmings to get to order is not our scene. Another reviewer gives relevant tips if you really do want to try it; mainly get there super early...

Street food at its finest
Dec 2015 • Couples
So many options, but we chose Vietnamese take out from Little Green Cyclo which was delicious. There a few pop up areas that will feature some of the trucks as well.

So so many options
Oct 2015
Wow! So glad we stumbled upon this after our big walk. So many food trucks all in one location. There is a bar and live music. I just wished we had brought a blank along.

Presidio Food Truck Flavor
Nov 2015 • Friends
Great food truck event offering a variety of eats from pizza to sushi, ice cream vegetarian to bacon options for the carnivore foodies. Excellent for the entire family, day time shindig, groups, girls day out, couples quality time...whatever your vice.

It's free, open to the public and has the best view in town right off the marina. Seated in the heart of the Presidio where the grass is healthy & green, the skies are beautifully blue and sun shines in abundance. Bring a blanket to lay out, grab a tent for shade or tote your portable folding chair to enjoy the festivities, adult libations & awesome live entertainment in comfort.

Can't beat the grid.
