Family Wedding
Jun 2016 • Couples
We attended a family wedding here and found it a very special, quaint and touching location given the age and historical significance of the church. Nice well kept courtyard. It was a small wedding (about 30) so very appropriate and the reception was on site as well and catered. You can Wikipedia this church to get the history. We were very fortunate that our cousin (who lives in the Bay area) chose this for her church to be married in.

The church was a wonderful place for a special wedding in San Francisco. It is a historical church that has been perfectly preserved.

Fabulous Sacred Church Landmark!
May 2015 • Solo
The Swedenborgian Church is both historically and culturally important and was declared National Historic Landmark in 2004. It looks pretty much exactly like it did in 1895! Definitely one of the big 3 historic San Francisco Churches (Peter & Paul in North Beach and Grace Cathedral). They are going to start having tours soon, I am definitely coming back for that!

Beautiful Historical Church
Jun 2014 • Family
This small church was the siteof a wedding we attende for our niece. This is a historical treasure for San Francisco with its rustic look complete with a very earthy decor. An altar with driftwood accents on one end and a comfortable natural fireplace on the other. The interior grounds are very well landscaped and maintained. The female minister provided a beautiful and well prepared ceremony.
