Cozy neighborhood bat

This bar is always busy with a nice mix of locals and tourists. They usually run old movies on the TV sets - the Maltese falcon and similar.

Title sums it up. Perfect for a couple for a quiet night with good music and not having to pay an arm and leg for a drink. Staff were good fun!

The Owl Tree is located near Union Square so a lot of the customers are visitors to San Fran, but if you've been there once when Ashley was there, she will remember you AND your drink! The bar itself is a little cubby hole sitting on the corner. Great atmosphere and... More

We were denied access at the entrance, without any explanation.. We asked the reason for rejection, and this was the reply: "Because I say so". Very rude and arrogant.

We stopped in to this bar for a drink before dinner. Very friendly staff and cool atmosphere. We were there for Happy Hour, so they had some appetizers out. In an older building, this bar is a little unique and very cool.

Music is retro, the TVs screen old movies and the... More
