Maggie McGarry’s is your typical neighborhood Irish pub pouring your Irish favorites and offering that “cozy small pub” feel. Just In town for a day and always in search of an Irish pub during my travels to enjoy a Guinness. Maggie’s fit the bill nicely...More

The Guinness seemed pretty decent to me (originally from Dublin). Had a couple while playing darts. Wasn't too busy, so I'd give it a A- or B+... whichever says "good" to you!

The female bartender had someone ask us to leave bc she claims we walked away from her when she asked us if we wanted anything to drink. For 1, she had already asked us and I had said no thank you (because I'm PREGNANT!) And...More

Found the bar after visiting Coit Tower, only intended on staying for a pint but ended up there all afternoon, Katy the bar tender was great fun and very informative. If your looking for a friendly informal relaxed Californian Irish bar, I really recommend

The bar was your typical Irish bar with an extra performance area attached. The atmosphere was ok and there is a pretty good selection of beers. Altogether a pleasant place to sit with friends for a beer but one downside was the lady behind the...More

This seems like your average Irish pub (a good thing in my mind). Standard beer selection, nothing too fancy but not totally boring either. The bartender was super entertaining and made the visit for us. It also looks like it could be a good place...More

Enjoyed stopping at this gem after dinner. Female bartender and doorman were very personable, easy to talk to, and down to Earth. Would love to go back if/when we return to SF!

Popped into this bar to have a couple of drinks after having some pizza at the awesome Golden Boy Pizza just around the corner. It was quite quiet up until one guy rolled up very drunk, but it didn't ruin the vibe as we were...More

If you are looking for a real irish pub, don't go there. The decor is not bad but the ambiance is not here. Moreover the bartender (Maggie I guess) was completly drunk and not friendly. There are a lot of better bars nearby..
