Neighbourhood: Mission District
From burritos to bicyclists, the Mission is the foundation for all things hip in the city. Cultural attractions, an independent arts community, sumptuous street murals and a high density of bars and cafes make this neighbourhood a magnet for young people. While terrific inexpensive food is abundant, its top-of-the-line restaurants now compete with the city’s best for fashionable diners. Indulge as the locals do by heading to Mission Dolores Park, buy some ice cream, and savor one of the most diverse neighbourhoods in the country.

BEST THAI COOKING CLASS, EVER!!
Sep 2020 • Couples
This was the best cooking class I’ve taken, and I’ve taken a ton. Very authentic and a wonderful teacher. We made pad Thai and it was delicious. Sunshine walked us through every step and sent us the exact ingredients to get. It’s an amazing deal and we’ve already booked 2 more classes!! Can’t recommend high enough.

Amazing experience
Apr 2019 • Couples
We spent a great time and we learned so much!! We were a small group, only two couples, and all the dishes were delicious!! It was the best Thai food that we have ever eaten before, the pad thai is so yummy!! We have so much fun because Sunshine is amazing!!! We would definitely come back again.

Hands-On Night of Cooking
Mar 2017 • Couples
We arranged to join one of the classes Chef Sunshine teaches in the Mission. Held in a converted church, the class was around 12-14 people (mostly couples) and we made three dishes - Mango Salad, Pad See Ew Shrimp (stir fry) and Kanom Krook (dessert). She is a high energy teacher, and we enjoyed the class, class size, cooking space, and especially the chance to make a few Thai dishes. The mango salad was our favorite. It can get hard to understand her as she talks incredibly fast! We left feeling like we'll be able to replicate what we made, and that we'd go back to try some of the other dishes she teaches.
