It all began in the 1960-ties and now includes hundreds of house boats or floating homes as the residents prefer to call them. All the homes are different and have all shapes and forms

Very famous in the 70th at the time the Hippies it looks now outdated out of trend at the time of globalisation and hyper technology at the point that some places look almost abandoned very sad indeed but still worth mohave a look

This is my second time visit. We saw just 10 homes for 50.00$ it is overly charged for those number of houses to show. it is not impressive homes either. very disappointed.

These floating homes are remarkable there must be hundreds of them. All different styles. Great plants too.

I do not think this is a real attraction but I guess it is based on these reviews. We enjoyed walking the docks to see the unique way each owner designed their boats! Fun & different.

The harbor is very beautiful but the floating homes are just amazing. The homes should be on land but they are floating in the water.

I live five minutes from the floating homes and I am delighted that they are in my back yard. I don't believe that there is anywhere else in the world with a community like this ( I could be wrong) The house boats are stunning....More

We went down to the docks in January, not when they were doing the walk through the homes tour. Just seeing the outside of the house"boats" and reading the placards, checking out the art work and chatting with the nice residents was a blast.
