My wife and I took this evening telescope tour on a Tuesday night the first week of October 2016. We were two of the 8 people on our tour. The tour started at 7:30pm and we got back about 10:30. It was 57 degrees when we started and 50 degrees when we got back. Our guide was Alex, who brought... More

We had an outstanding night of star, comet & planet viewing!! The guide kept in touch with us not only before we arrived but once we got to town to ensure the best chances for viewing that suited our busy schedule. He was entertaining and knowledgeable and we had a wonderful evening in the stars.

I booked this trip months ago from the UK because we didn't want to miss out and boy am I glad we did. Alex was marvellous from the start to the end. Obviously the weather cannot be controlled and the night we were booked to go was cloudy but Alex went out of his way to rearrange our outing. Two... More

What a fun thing to do in such a beautiful place. Alex was great from the moment I contacted him from Atlanta until the end of our adventure. Our weather has a bite unreliable during our stay and Alex helped us to juggle the schedule. It was a truly unique, educational and awesome experience. Alex provided the telescope, chairs and... Our tour guide had us all meet up at the park on the north end of town, then we all wagon-trained around downtown, got back on the main street, and drove out to the old air strip on the south end of town. That seemed like a big waste if time. But once he got his telescope set up, he... More

We cannot say enough about what a special part of our trip this experience was with "Alex". We almost did not go because my husband has a balance problem that is worse in the dark. He found it too difficult to get up from his chair to look through the telescope. However, he was very content with the presentation and... More

Our night with Alex and RedRock Astronomy was an incredible experience. We have gone out for "astronomy nights" in Park City, UT and South Africa and this was by far the most informative! Alex has a wonderful program that is worth every penny, plus some! His telescope is pretty spectacular, too! Hurry and book now ....

Alex accommodated us on our anniversary trip to Moab September of 2016. What an experience! He met us at a park in Moab, and after quick introductions, we were off to Dead Horse Point State Park. Alex patiently took time to explain his method to us as we set up our viewing location. Throughout the night, he thoroughly explained each... More

Alex did a great job. He explained everything we were looking at through his telescope. We saw the moon, Saturn (rings and all) and numerous other night time sites. So glad the moon was in the right position and we were able to take advantage of this while in Moab.
