Beautiful little day hike just outside of town. While it starts with a bit of a steep climb, the reward is a quiet hike with pretty views and a great selection of petroglyphs. There is very little shade, so plan accordingly if it's hot. I...More

Highly recommend waking up early to hit this trail before the sun comes out and slowly cooks you alive. The first part of the trail are switchbacks that lead you up that rock face you see there. After that it levels off. I also saw...More

About 14 yrs ago I did a hike in Moab that I never forgot but couldn't remember where it was. I knew it was a steep climb up a mesa that emptied in to a serene meadow, then sheer rock formations with tons of ancient...More

You have to spend here all day. I walked on trail at summer evening and I can't get to the finish point 'cause it's gonna dark.

Did this one years ago when I was younger (Thank goodness) - lots and lots of switch-backs. But once you're on top, it's very pretty.

This hike was convenient to downtown Moab and was interesting due to the variety of terrain. If you walk the entire trail, you will get a nice view of some petroglyphs.

My husband and I ran this trail while our kids were rock climbing and loved it. But we cracked up that it was listed as 'easy trail run' - the first 500 feet are straight up! wonderful views, gorgeous surroundings, vigorous uphill then beautiful run...More

The front side is quite vertical, but once you get up to the plateau, it's beautiful and breezy! Lots of flowers are in bloom with tall green grasses right now. There is no water on the hike, so this could be very hot and dry...More
