We were staying at the associated lodge so the winery was easy for us to check out. There was a tasting opportunity and lots of neat gifts in the winery -- we took care of many of our purchases for friends in one swoop here. The wines offered included a broad selection and all seemed to be a good value.... More

We live in Oregon wine country and weren't planning to visit a Utah winery. We were at the Red Cliffs Lodge for lunch and decided to stop into Castle Creek. This is a huge facility. If you want wine related merchandise, they probably stock it here. Service was very friendly. We were told to mark 3 wines we'd like to... More

Free wine tasting from 12 pm until 7 pm at Castle Creek Winery Located on Hwy 128 northeast of Moab next to Arches National Park. We sampled 4 different wines - 2 reds and 2 whites. We like the Chardonnay they produced and bought a bottle. Offered in their gift shop is a number of wine related items and souvenirs.... More

This is a great winery in a really scenic location. We bought two bottles went down to the picnic area and just kicked back and enjoyed the scenery. Great gift shop with snacks, etc. This is the second time we have visited this winery and have never been disappointed. Definitely worth stopping!

I visited this winery twice in September of 2016. It was a rewarding experience and I enjoyed interacting with the staff and sampling the wines offered. Utah does not have too many wineries and I can say that Castle Creek represents Utah in a fine way. The wines were flavorful and very reasonable priced. Between the two times I was... More

Stopped during our drive along Hwy 128, we had some tasting and did pick up a couple of their wines as well as some souvenirs, the wine is very good, and they have several varieties to choose from also the wine from grape to bottle is completely accomplished at this location

We went for a drive on our first afternoon in Moab and found this neat place. Very friendly people. Super wine, great cheese and outstanding spicy jam.

Stopped in after finding a brochure at the Moab Information Center. The drive to the winery is scenic along 128 following the Colorado River. Tasting Room and Store and decorated accordingly. Samples are good. Bought one bottle of wine to take with me. Wish they could ship wine out of state. Would definitely visit again and buy more.

You can taste three wines for free and you'll want to buy at least one bottle ($11-$15). Enjoy the view from the winery and make sure you sign the guest book!

The wines were nice, light, and we enjoyed the tasting. It is very hot here so you do not have full bodied wine but all are palatable. None of the Reds had legs. They have also removed the tannins so there are no harsh tasting wines in the bunch. There is a nice wine retail store as well.
