Great exhibits and artifacts used to interpret the time period of the Arkansas Post area. The story of the dogtrot cabin is well told by wayside exhibit panels.

Do stop and tour the grounds and buildings. Very cool stuff to see. Interesting place, well worth a visit. The gift shop is darling! It's a short drive (approximately 15) from Dumas Days Inn.

The Museum houses artifacts, photos and a orientation film. This is a must when you visit the Post. Here you will meet the Post rangers and can purchase books and related items.

Lots of authentic to area artifacts. Small place that packs in the stuff that was true to this area. I think they even have my grandfather's bear trap from many many years back. Tough men settled this area and these are the things that prove...More

Loved the museum. We didn't have time to watch all of the programs, but it was very enlightening. We plan to go back again next season.
