Assateague is MUCH less crowded than the beach on OC (which is also great!) This is a more relaxed beach. We live it!

Very pretty peaceful place. Beaches are nice and we even got to see a large herd of the wild ponies up close.

Assateague is a wonderful park on the Ocean. A relaxing getaway from the large crowds in Ocean City. Scenic and rustic, it is a beautiful setting. If you are there long enough you will see all kinds of wildlife including the famed Assateague ponies.
