My husband and I went on the pole boat tour and Bonesy was our guide. I would recommend this trip to anyone who loves peace, solitude, wildlife, and plant life. the ride was very calming and we learned a lot too. Bonesy was very informative as he pointed out interesting things about this absolutely beautiful ecosystem! It was the highlight of our trip to Florida and definitely worth every penny!

What a wonderful 2 hrs. on the Turner River Feb. 6, 2024. We did a Pole boat tour and our guide was Bones(not sure of spelling).
He was a fantastic guide, so knowledgeable about the area and eco systems. The ride was so smooth and quiet, we were able to take pictures and not scare the wildlife off. My husband is a real critic and he even was impressed with the tour and guide.
Highly recommend!

Our Everglades Adventure Tours trip was a blast and Bonesy was such a great guide. We saw some really spectacular wildlife and loved kayaking through all of the mangroves. Definitely recommend kayaking the Turner River!

I went on a simple 2 hour kayak paddle with Bonesy and my sister. My only regret is that we hadn't booked more time and went further afield with Bonesy. Next time I'm going to book a multi day or an all day trip. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the ecology and ecosystem of the area, we saw lots of wildlife and even had a river otter travel with us a bit! He fed us information in a casual way as it related to what we were curious about and what we were observing around us. I could have spent all day quietly slipping through the trees and listening to the quiet. I highly recommend spending some time with this crew and learning more about Big Cypress. I know it's called a 'swamp' but the area is beautiful and fascinating and a special corner of the world in our care. We had a perfect day: a little exercise, a little adventure, a great guide, some sunshine and a deeper understanding of one of Florida's key ecosystems. I know Bonesy would have preferred the pole boat, maybe next time! Bring your curiosity, some polarized sunglasses (so you can see the gar fish!), and a probably a little insect repellent although in January the bugs were minimal and the weather was fabulous.

We had an amazing excursion led by Jack. We did a 4-hour kayak tour and we learned so much about the area and the environment. It was so beautiful to see how clear and clean everything was. The knowledge Jack has of the area was amazing. We will definitely be back in fully recommend this to everybody.

We are a family of avid naturalists(and Florida locals) and decided to book the Everglades Photography Tour to do some birding and photography. Our tour guide, THE Brandon, was incredible! He was witty, charming, intelligent and entertaining in every way. He kept all of us engaged with his humor and knowledge of the Everglades without giving us information we already knew. We all learned a few new facts during our pole boat tour which was a true treat! We also happened to stay at the Trail Lakes Campground and visited Skunk Ape Headquarters and are overall very happy with our choice of companies. We can’t wait to come back during rainy season to see the change of scenery! (all photos posted are taken during our pole boat tour)

We took the sunset flatboat tour. Definitely recommend. Tray was our guide during our 2+ hour paddle down the Turner River. Tray handled the flat boat expertly, even during the very narrow mangrove tunnels at night. Tray was also a wealth of information about the area as well as the flora & fauna throughout the area. Tray made sure to point our birds, plants & alligators so we didn’t miss them.

We took the sunset tour which I highly recommend. Not only did we get to see the sun set, we were able to do some amazing star gazing. Plus paddling by alligators at night, is a experience you don’t want to miss.

We did the Pole-boat experience, which we really loved. We had already done the (highly recommended) Shark Valley bike tour in the morning, and were happy to just relax. Our pilot (Trey -- I hope we got the spelling right) was knowledgable and friendly, and was pretty good at steering a somewhat ungainly craft through tight corners. He was a good alligator and other-critter spotter.
