If you had visited Coral Castle in the 1940s you would have been greeted enthusiastically by a man weighing a mere 100 pounds and standing just over 5 feet tall. He would have asked you for ten cents admission and introduced you to his fantasy world. Since it is documented that no one ever witnessed Ed's labor in building his beloved Coral Castle, some have said he had supernatural powers. Ed would only say that he knew the secrets used to build the ancient pyramids and if he could learn them, you could too. Today, you can tour the Coral Castle with our tour guides. Narration available in English, Spanish, French or German, Japanese, and Russian. Features of the Coral Castle Museum include a 9-ton gate, a Polaris telescope. We invite you to witness for yourself what millions saw on national TV's "Ancient Aliens" "Sabado Gigante's Don Francisco" "Good Morning America" "That's Incredible" "In Search Of..." "You Asked For It!" and "Ripley's Believe It or Not". Billy Idol wrote his hit song, "Sweet Sixteen" just for us. Coral Castle is one of the Top 10 Historic Hot Spots in South Florida!!

This really cool place was built by an eccentric Latvian recluse named Edward Leedskalnin who allegedly left Latvia when he was rejected by the love of his life. He built this place in hopes that she will hear about it and come back to him. It is a very sad romantic story. I found this place through Groupon, and it... More

The story behind this place is astounding. A 45 minute tour gives you the whole story behind this American Stone Henge and the genius who created it.

The efforts of the original owner is amazing. The design of the coral features is both humorous and well as scientific. Be sure to take the guided tour or you will miss about 905 of the interesting features

We where not disappointment. You can bring a picnic lunch as there is a beautiful garden. They do have a gift shop and lunch counter.

We'd heard about Ed and his amazing ability to move huge rocks years ago and when we found ourselves in the area we decided to see it for ourselves. Although surprisingly small Ed's Rock Gate House deserves 5 stars. However admission is pricey and the actual info provided was rather 'paddled' and really only worth 3 stars. Still, it's definitely... More

If you like a love story and have an imagination, you will enjoy this stop. The kids will like the hands on appeal. This is about an hour stop, unless you want to linger. Park like appearance, take the time to read the brochure while visiting.

I find this very interesting as it is comparable to Stonehenge in ways. We are glad we visited, but most children would not enjoy it and find it boring. It is like a small fort and has historical quality. Our guide was very knowledgeable. Price was $ 17.50 as we had a coupon from our visitor flyer. They need to... More

Coral Castle is not as large as one would expect but the mystery of how it was built my one man still astound today. It is a great visit and one that one should read up on all theories both scientific and esoteric. The visit is well organized. Guides are very polite helpful and knowledgeable. The stories around the tour... More
