We had a good time doing the home tour. It was definitely worth the time and money. We couldn't stay very long but we're able to cram in some knowledge.

I guess you have to have a taste for history and culture to choose to come for a visit to Thomas Wolfe house-Asheville becoming hopping busy modern brew city. But everyone should come and get the story of mountain own novelist that didn't get much...More

It's a beautiful old home but it was a bit difficult to find on the city tour. A nice stop along the way though with some beautiful rocking chairs

Most of what to see what is in the museum bookstore. Thomas Wolfe was a fascinating character and author, so it was still interesting to see his home from youth

I love this museum. The visitor center is great and the house, itself, is as well. There is a great little eatery a short walk (Sovereign Remedies) from there. Super price--makes for a great afternoon...

The museum highlights Thomas Wolfe's life. There are guided tours of his childhood home at specific times. The museum and the short film highlight his life with its ups and downs.

I just saw it tonight for the second time. I don't know why critics disliked it so much. I'm a devotee of Mr. Wolfe and Mr. Perkins and think the film is marvelous in the best sense of that word.

I'm not certain but I recall it is opened 9 AM to 5 PM Tuesday to Saturday. There's ample parking provided there's not a large tour.
