We visited on a rainy day and were looking for some non hiking things to do. It was so interesting to learn of this industry and all the famous people who were part of ordering fabric from this enterprise

Provides a great up-close look at an important part of North Carolina’s industrial heritage. Wonderful old loom and other weaving tools, woodworking, and more. Didn’t get to do the tour next door of the old weaving/during work areas but the museum is well worth a...More

An interesting museum that focuses on the production of cloth and clothes in a small industrial setting during the 1900's. Also nearby is a antique car museum with a number of well restored cars. Also nearby is a large store with artistic crafts and furniture.

This is a small museum in Grovewood Village. It has several pieces of machinery used to make textiles, samples of the textiles that were made and interesting information such as payroll records from the Biltmore concerning the mill. It was enough for a person to...More

This is just an exhibit in an artist community. There was not an attendant but it was well done and worth the few minutes it took.
