I've been coming to Asheville for 15+ years and truly thought I was pretty well versed in the history. I learned so many new stories and facts while taking the Greyline Trolley tour! Both of my guides were extremely knowledgeable and kept the riders engaged. As a teacher, I was very pleased to hear that if the guides didn't know... More

We had a full day in Asheville on our own before we took the tour and muddled our way around on our own. If we would have the information provided on the tour we would have enjoyed our short visit so much more. The tour departs from a first-class visitor center which will also help any guest w meals, itinerary,... More

Our company booked this trip for the sales team while in Asheville. 1 1/2 hours of beautiful scenery and many history lessons. If you book this activity ask for Dean, not only is he extremely knowledgeable, but equally hysterical.. Perfect for everyone in your family.

I have been to Asheville, but never “In Asheville” I was living the old idiom of being “confused”.” It is “being off of one’s trolley.” Well I am now fixed, and funny thing, I got my clarity for “Being ON a trolley” We had the opportunity to enjoy a trolley ride around and IN Asheville this past Saturday, with a... Ive lived in Asheville for over 10 years and the Gray Line tour was highly informative. Its also a great way to get around the city for a day if your looking to bar hop. I liked it much better than LaZoom. A little pricey, but well worth it!

I wasn't sure what to expect but but was impressed. The roundtrip is about 90 minutes with 10 stops along the way. You can disembark at any of stops and then catch another trolley. A great feature is parking at the visitors center for free then riding the trolley where you want to go. There is no worry about finding... More

So happy we stumbled upon the Trolley tour! What a wonderful way to learn about Asheville, tour areas that you may not go on your own and have fun meeting new people. We did the "on-off" tour and it's well worth the few extra dollars - esp since you can do a second day free! I loved that we could... More

Our day-after-Christmas tour of Asheville was everything I had hoped it would be and more. Although I had visited Asheville over a hundred times before (we have close relatives there), I had never taken a guided tour of the city. My wife talked me into it, reminding me that there are always interesting things to learn about any city, even... More

Our tour guide and driver, Matt, is an Asheville native, and regaled all of his passengers with humorous stories and anecdotes about past Asheville residents, visitors, and events. In addition, he handled with dignity some difficult events that had taken place in the Asheville area. Most of all, he tied Asheville's past to its present through its architecture, neighborhoods, forests,... More
