We read about this location on Bring Fido. Love it. leather couch was nice and comfortable; pets are allowed on the floor or in your lap. I had Champagne, my sister had her first Bellini (which she ACTUALLY liked!), while Micha the pineranian helped us with a plate of red grapes, sliced apple, chewy bread with fig jam, and a... More

This the neatest book store I've seen in a while. They have all of used books, including some very rare ones. They have a bad, and a coffee area, plus you can get little plates of yummies to hold you over. Plenty of neat furniture, and art pieces to look at too. Def worth a stop.

This spot is great for devouring a book while sipping on coffee or your favorite drink, meeting up with friends or just browsing around with a glass of bubbly. Full bar and coffee shop inside. You are surrounded by thousands of books and little books and crannies you can hide in to read. We visited this place three times while... More

Very fun experience for people like us who enjoy books, small plates of cheese, olives and charcuterie, and a great selection of wine, beer and champagne. We sat at the bar and chatted with other guests and got some great recommendations for places to visit in the area from our server. Service wasn't super fast, but it was very friendly.... More

If I lived in Asheville and my wife didn't know where I was. This should be the first place she looks. You can browse for interesting books for hours. Sit and relax in worn comfortable leather chairs. You have your choice of wines, champagne, or get something from the espresso bar. Plenty of hide always if you're looking for some... More

We ran into this place on accident and now it's a regular stop for us. I can't wait to introduce my daughter to it the next time we are in Asheville (this March!) Fun to keep going up and around corners to the next little hang-out spot.

Stopped in there for a quick glass of wine and to read the newspaper. Dog's are welcomed and are right at home in this store.

This place was so cool! I could spend hours there with all the different rooms and rare books. This place is so memorable. I was waiting for a famous author to walk in and browse, as I am sure many do. The café was first class with adult beverages as well as coffee and teas with great snacks. Plan to... More

My husband loves books, I love champagne & we both love live guitar playing and singing. Perfect evening out before a late dinner. I splurged on a bottle of Taittinger (they brought it to the sofa in a chiller with two glasses) where we sat and thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere and music. The vibe is very Parisian to me (tall...
