A must see and do in Asheville. The art gallery is really a nice touch and what an enjoyable lunch at the Woolworth's cafe. Old fashioned shakes served with the old fashioned shake container. Yum.

Stumbled upon the Woolworth Walk while strolling through Asheville. I was amazed! This former Woolworth store has been transformed into an art gallery featuring local artists of very high quality. In the back right corner they also have retained the original Woolworth’s Eating Counter! An...More

Met Ruth downtown first day in Asheville for lunch, and I couldnt resist popping in to the Woolworth's to look at the old-fashioned lunch counter reminiscent of my youth. We ate outside on the street table and tipped a man who serenaded the street while...More

There was a lot have local art worth seeing. Really enjoyed the lunch counter. I had a banana split which was awesome! The sandwiches they were making looked really good.

This is a great place to walk around and see art from the local artists. You can take as long as you want to browse and if you should see something you like, just carry it to the front counter and pay. The prices vary...More

This was probably my favorite shop in downtown Asheville. This is an art coop in an old Woolworth's. The booths are well separated and well maintained. Everything was hand created by artisans from the Asheville area. Very fun to walk through and explore!

We loved this place. All of our souvenirs for family and ourselves came from here and the Biltmore. Prices seemed fair and there were a variety of crafts to see.

I have been here twice now and always enjoy looking at the crafts. There are items at every price point and it is fun to just browse. Great location and helpful staff, too.
