DWT is a small theater that has a packed schedule of varied music. The acoustics are very good, and even the worst seats are better than in many places. Their season tickets are a bargain. Now, if only they could solve Asheville's parking problem.

Have seen many shows here and the talent is always wonderful. Local dance schools and comedians and music shows. Reasonably priced tickets

First time at this theater, for a Mary Chapin Carpenter concert. Intimate hall, 500 seats, great acoustics, every seat feels up close & personal.

Was in here the other day to watch a wonderful pianist. Our seats were about 9 rows back, so we had no problem seeing the artist. And from the looks of the layout, there's really not a bad seat in the house. Placement of bathrooms...More

We had front row, orchestra seats to see Lucia Micarelli play. While she is an extremely talented violinist, her condescending attitude toward her fellow musicians made the concert unpleasant to watch. She smiled and said a few nice things about them but there appeared to...More

I have no idea what is playing Dec 5, beside which that day is gone by. It takes about a half hour to get from downtown to the airport. You would need to take a taxi which would cost about $40. Kathryn
