Not really walking friendly, I mean there are two sides to this and the walk between is long and without adequate walking sidewalks/trails. I like visiting here but it's a work in progress.

This is a great neighborhood to stroll in. I love the card store and other artist finds. Great parking.

Lots of shops selling artwork and crafts Ok if you like that sort of thing but not my bag . Nice atmosphere

Stay downtown, loved the shops, great restaurants, it was very cold but we weathered through it. Would definitely Visit Asheville again.

This area is under a lot of construction. Its very loud dark and we were surprised to see so many homeless in a tourist area. Breaks my heart. We did not get out and walk around just because it was difficult to park on street....More

So much too see; not enough time! I would devote 2 full days to the art district!! Too much fun and overwhelming amounts of artists and their wares! So fun!!!

Great place to stroll, have a coffee and take it all in. Many galleries displaying all mediums of art. We were lucky to be there for the art walk making it even better.
