Cute little art galleries, shops, restaurants, and murals throughout this district. Bookshops and record stores also! Very impressive to see this.

a wonderful collection from local artists. From jewelry, to clat, to glass to paining and multi media - you will see it all in downtown Asheville.

The river art district is a great place to walk around to the galleries and pick up some local pottery, glassware jewelry and you can even watch it being made.

Reminds me of what Greenwich Village in New York used to be like in the 70s. It's a quaint town with lots of neat things to do.
