I bought a City Pass and this was one of the offerings. It was definitely fun to do as a solo traveller, but I think it would be even better to do if you are travelling with young children. There is a ton of interactive displays and different activities to entertain them. The butterfly garden is small but worth the... More

Although this could get pricey for a family, it is worth it. To truly see most of it, you need a FULL day. We started at the IMAX theater, which was great. Then we headed for the planetarium, the butterfly garden, the Da Vinci exhibit and the Human life hall. The butterfly garden is considerably smaller than others I have... More

Located in Science Park, this is a great location spanning the Charles River. Check out the interactive exhibits that are available on site. Two of particular mention are the Design Challenges which is a hands on activity to learn about the cycle of engineering design. Visitors can learn about the engineering and innovation processes. The "Aviary Architect" game was available... More

Fabulous museum filled with hands on exhibits and many special events. We were able to go to see the Lighting Show which was outstanding. Easy to get to with the T stop within walking distance.

This is an outstanding place to be. It is very educational and enjoyable even for the old. It gets very crowded during the weekends. It can be reached easily by metro. It was disappointing that only MIT students got a discount.(that was what we were told) The general admission is $25 and special exhibits including the 4D and Omni theaters,... More

We visited here on a Boston City Pass. Conveniently around the corner from our hotel it was 4 hours well spent. There are loads of interesting exhibits and so much to learn. We particularly enjoyed the Polar Express in the 4D theatre. Well worth the extra handful of dollars. Definitely worth a visit even without the City Pass.

Science museum is always a great place to go. The museum is interactive, informative and holds kids and adults captive with their exhibits. I loved the Leonard da Vinci exhibit. You can spend 1 hour or the day!

We came here to check out the dinosaurs. With a family membership with a science place, we got in at no charge and no line. The place is clean and has a ton of interactive activities for everyone to try from nature to hard science to space. Plan to spend a whole day here as it is a very big... More

Went here for family activity with our adult children - youngest in the group 30 and oldest 60. Da Vinci exhibit in full swing. Everyone loved it. Rest of museum very busy, very crowded. So much to do. Beautiful view of the Charles River. Theater of Electricity is not to be missed at least once. So many things to do,... More

we spent a day at the museum and it was fun. Very interactive and well spaced out. The butterfly garden is amazing. There are some giant species. The view of the Charles river from the garden and cafeteria are gorgeous.
