Before your food coma sets in, make sure to stop by historic Paul Revere’s home, and follow the Freedom Trail to Old North Church and Copp’s Hill Burying Ground. The Paul Revere Statue is not at his house. It is located in the Paul Revere Park which connects to the back of the Old North Church. It is a pretty park with informational plaques on the brick wall . The garden area is very nice and sometimes you will find a musician in the park playing.

The Revere Mall is lovely and can be found in the North End. We especially liked the trees, and it was a good place for a walk. This big statue dedicated to the big guy can be found in the middle of the Mall. Important part of colonial history.

It's the perfect place for his statue. The square is very near his North End house where he lived during the Revolutionary War. It's also the perfect setting historically. It's placed in such a way where you can also see the North Church. The church where he instructed the sexton to signal the troops that the British were coming by strategic placement of lanterns in the steeple. What I thought was interesting is that it took Cyrus Edwin Dallin 16 years to create this bronze statue. It was finally placed in this square in the 1940's. That's like a really long time.
It's certainly a landmark that shouldn't be missed. Just be aware that the whole area is under construction. The square has a gate around it. You can still see the statue from the street, but the oval granite base is covered up by plywood. It's still worth a look as you're walking through the North End.

The statue of Paul Revere’s Midnight Ride is currently under construction. It stands proudly in front of old north Church. It’s a testament of the American Revolution and the beginning of our American history.

We have been visiting Boston for 45 years, and every trip, we take time to honor Paul Revere.
The truth is that Paul Revere never finished that ride that come to be named after him. Paul Revere was stopped by a British patrol on his way to Concord. He never made it!
In fact, he was riding with two other men, only one of whom succeeded in warning the Americans in Concord that the British were coming.
William Dawes also rode with Paul Revere that night. He, too, was stopped by a British patrol. He managed to escape, as did Dr. Samuel Prescott, the third rider.
Tis a grand week to visit Boston!
Given our luxury suites at the Marriott’s Customs House, spend lots of time walking and touring various sites.
We love Boston, and the flight time was about two hours from Dayton or nearly a seven-hour experience. This is our 40th+ visit to Boston, and we have visited during all seasons. Yes, we got “you should have been here last week (60 degree weather,) but I am a Yankee, and love Boston in the cold, the rain, and the snow!
We like that the Marriott's Custom's House is centered in the North End.
Out walking every day; even in one day of rain. Yes, we get "you should have been here last week," to enjoy the 60 degree weather.
Just love Boston.

This statue of Paul Revere close to the Old North Church commemorates his memorable ride during the American War of Independence. While it is an impressive statue, there are plenty of other statues in Boston that are equally as good. You will see this on the Freedom Trail as it is between the Old North Church and Paul Revere's House. On a sunny day it's good to know that there is some shade and seats here.

The statue is along the freedom trail. Do you like statues? There are lots of them in the city. It's impressive. It's big. There are benches around it. You can have a snack, bag lunch or get lunch from one of the many places around and sit nearby and enjoy!!! The statue gets dressed up on holidays and sporting events. Some say to look close at the horse! Figure it out!! Boston is old and very historic. This one is on Hanover street. Very touristy. Of course... A must visit for history buffs. It is one of our nicest.
