Please choose Old Towne Trolley instead! I have used both and the orange and green trolleys are everywhere in comparison to Cityview's silver busses. Not only do they go more places around town but also have better operating times.

We purchased this online through Viator and got a GO pass online. There is another trolley tour company in town so people kept giving us the wrong directions for where to line up To catch the trolley. The map they sent led me to believe that it was the trolley route but it was a map showing all the attractions.... More

Even if you traveled to Boston many times this tour is relaxing and informative. Our daughter livers in Boston and we took the tour one day when she was working. You can get on and off, the guides give you great historical information and you can truly get your hands around what Boston is and has to offer! She was... More

Takes you all around the city, all day long! Really good way to tour the town. Not sure on the price, because we had Boston GOcards, but it is a fun way to learn about the city

A great deal with it, drivers are nice, pleasant and knowledgeable. I suggest to buy the two days ticket so you will gain a free boat tour in the harbour.

We jumped on and off as we pleased. Drivers very informed about the area. Enjoyed boat ride out of the harbor, it was a little crowded and found it hard to hear the speaker. For quick review of Boston, this is a bargain.

I was only in Boston for a very short time. This Trolley Tour helped me to see a lot of the city in a short time. Great tour guide.

I can't remember the name of our tour guide but he was absolutely hilarious. He recreated scenes from movies, gave us food recommendations (Mike's was definitely a good shout) and he even taught us how to drive in Boston. But alongside the humour, he also explained what everything was and really brought it to life for us. The boat tour... More

Tom Collins is absolutely amazing!! Very knowledgable and quick witted. Not all tour guides are created equal and Tom's hometown live is apparent in everything he has to share. This tour was the perfect way to see the city.

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
