Captain your own mini speedboat as you navigate Boston Harbor while following our knowledgeable instructor. During your excursion you’ll pass many historical sites such as; the Tea Party Ship and Museum, USS Constitution, Nantucket Light Ship, JFK Library, Fort Independence and many more harbor sites. The adventure starts out nice and slow, this will give you time to get familiar with the boat and its operation. Once we pass the no wake zone, it’s time to pick up the speed and have some FUN as we navigate our way to JFK library, Fort Independence and pass many small islands. On the return, we’ll once again enter the no wake zone and view the Nantucket Light Ship, USS Constitution, Charlestown Navy Yard and Boston’s iconic Zakim Bridge. It’s the most unique way to see Boston…it’s PURE FUN! Bring your camera and cherish the memories. We have a limited number of boats for each adventure, don’t miss out…reserve your boat soon.

My daughter and I had the pleasure of going out in the harbor with Russ! Russ was very knowledgable and informative about the features and history of the harbor. Not only did he know his facts, but he educated us with great humor and kept us entertained. I would recommend this tour to anyone that wants to experience the harbor... More

Sun came out right as we were departing at 2:00. Quick tour and learned a little more about the city that I thought I knew it all after 35 years of commuting to daily. After the short tour we got out past the no wake zone and had some fun. Was me and my 14 year old son and 2... More

I have to say this is by far one of the most fun things I've done in the city of Boston. The tour was very information on what the fact that you get to drive the boat on your own was pretty amazing. A small little boat in the water. The thrill of it all is just exciting. It's definitely... More

We had so much fun! Our guides, shawn and tyler were so fun and laid back and brought us around the harbor without boring us with Boston history that every one learned on a duck tour. Perfect for a summer day with friends! Thanks guys :)

This tour is worth every minute! We showed up late (completely our fault) but Cody was able to accommodate us and have us join the group a few minutes late and miss the first 20 minutes - which we didn't mind at all. Best customer service ever! We had our tour with Kori who was fantastic, fun and upbeat. Driving... More

IF LIFE VESTS ARE WET and the guide tells you the waves are a little rough ... And that you COULD get a little wet ... YOU WILL BE DRENCHED. OWNER did not call off the ride, even though the water conditions were UNSAFE for such small watercraft. We were the second trip out that day. The owner tried to... More

Customer Service is extremely important to our business, Boston Harbor Mini Speedboats would not have a 5 star rating on Tripadvisor and the Tripadvisor Certificate of Excellence over a 4 year period if customer services wasn't our top priority. That said, unfortunately, wind and water conditions change very quickly from tour to tour, some tours are more rough than others,... More

We went out on the tour this weekend, and all four of us had a boat (each boat holds two). The tour was worth every minute of fun! We learned about sites in the harbor and had a blast going full throttle! It was the best tour that I have ever participated in! I appreciate them working with us as... More

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
