Must see church

In the center of Boston, you will certainly walk by this church so drop in for a visit. It is not a big church but worth paying a visit.

This Church is located next to the Public Library. It opens everyday for public from early morning till late. This Church had long history so worth for visit. This Church has a very open minded attitude so they have jazz event. They also welcome different sex orientation people too.

A superb piece of Boston Architecture, the inside of the church is as good as the exterior, also, nice to see engagement with the poorer side of the Boston community with all the good works they do!

Just off Copley Square, it seizes the eye and won't let go, Astunning blend of Venice and gothic styles. Inside, it's simple, unadorned and calming. A moving moment is the Michael quilt just before you enter the nave. Michael is a homeless man who died last winter in front of the church, bundled Ina sheet and blanket. The sheet was... More

This is a place to look at the architectural wonder of the old south church. It's near Trinity Church and Boston Library right across from Copley Square.

This historic church is a must see in Boston. My organization held services here and it was a great experience.

Lovely church in the heart of Boston. Beautiful wooden pews and great atmosphere. Open to all sexual orientations and free to enter as a tourist.

This place was amazing. I am a huge architecture fan and this church was overwhelming in its beauty. Totally worth the visit. It was open during the day. The only drawback is that they wont let you use their bathrooms. Still, GO!!

Lovely church - particularly if you want to sit and reflect (unlike others on the square that seem to have become more of a tourist attraction.) Appreciated the range of signs outside the church - shows it is of this time and not stuck in the past in its thinking.

I didn't get to go inside this place, but I think it would have been nice. I was at and inside the Old North Church. It's near Trinity Church and Boston Library right across from Copley Square. Not much action in the area, but it's all historic sites and worth seeing along with the rest.

Staying in Back Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Back Bay
Wander around this quintessential neighborhood in the heart of Boston for high-end shops, restaurants, and the feeling of city bustle. Its most identifiable skyscrapers, the Prudential Center and John Hancock Tower, are highlights of the city skyline. Visit Newbury street to explore unique and trendy boutiques – as well as every other kind of store imaginable – all housed in beautiful brownstone buildings. In nice weather, restaurant patio seating is packed with Bostonians and tourists alike soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the food. Commonwealth Ave offers a beautiful stroll down residential tree-lined streets. Keep walking towards the Charles River and enjoy a beautiful view by the water. In warmer months, people run and bike on paths running along the esplanade, and sail and kayak on the Charles River. Boylston street, also full of shops, bars, and restaurants, is the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Head towards Copley Square and check out the Boston Public Library, which is particularly beautiful from the Dartmouth street entrance.
