We started our long weekend in Boston with the City Tour and I can highly recommend it. The three guys working there were a delight to talk to and a lot of fun. Our guides were experts and experienced and told us a lot about the history of Boston. They also told us some local tips such as food and... More

Very enjoyable tour of the city with a friendly and knowledgeable guide. Easy pace so accessible to anyone who is used to riding a bike. No need to be a TDF rider but confidence amongst some traffic is recommended. We did the city tour and saw a lot of the city we would likely have missed otherwise. All in all... More

We went on our cycle tour on a beautiful November day and absolutely loved it. Our guide Greg was incredibly informative and friendly, and clearly loved his adopted city. I would recommend this tour to anyone as you get to see up close many areas of the city that you don't on the trolley bus tour, for example, which we also... More

There are not sufficient superlatives to describe every aspect of choosing this company if you want to cycle in Boston. Excellent bikes, helmets locks, Strava routes and Alex and the gang are examples of attentive business people determined to provide excellent customer service. From the time we expressed interest in renting bikes to the time we were whizzing around town... More

We took the Emerald Necklace Tour with Greg as our guide. This experience far exceeded our expectations. It was a fabulous way to see the city and learn about the history while getting fresh air and exercise. I highly recommend this company as a unique way to see Boston if you feel comfortable cycling through a city. Greg always kept... More

We had a wonderful bike tour of Cambridge. The company was great to call us the day before and change the tour time from afternoon to morning due to pending bad weather in the afternoon. Our guide was wonderful gave us a lot of historic information about the city and the universities that we road through. He was even kind... More

We had an excellent bike ride around the city of Boston. I have been on many bike tours and this has definitely been one of my favourites. The bikes were in excellent condition and we were also provided with a safety helmet. Our tour guide Greg was extremely knowledgable in all areas and was very willing to answer questions. He... Our guide and the pace were good. Saw lots of Boston. Have done a number of city bike tours in North America and Europe. This one was as good as others, with two exceptions. It rains in Boston like other cities. The tour should have cheap branded rain ponchos to give to customers on overcast days. None were given or... More

Thanks for your feedback! We will definitely make sure that our tour guides have rain ponchos available for guests in the case of inclement weather mid tour, though it is always great if you can pack your own rain jacket (the pouches on our bikes are big enough to hold a small jacket!). We've crafted our tour routes and content... More

Staying in North End

Neighbourhood Profile
North End
Wandering around Boston’s North End can feel like being transported to Europe. Stroll down Hanover and Salem streets for the finest Italian restaurants, bakeries, cafes, and a few boutique shops. Take part in the big debate as to whether Modern Pastry or Mike’s serves a better cannoli. Before your food coma sets in, make sure to stop by historic Paul Revere’s home, and follow the Freedom Trail to Old North Church and Copp’s Hill Burying Ground. Take a rest in a cafe on Hanover street and observe the quirky, European character of the North End.
