Quick stop

This park is just a corner lot in town. Park on the street, bounce out of the car, take pics, you're done. Stopped by the visitor center but didn't have time and it was pricey.

If you want a quiet place to sip your Starbucks, then a few minutes here might be worthwhile. Two cannons and a plaque do not make for a good historical site. Instead head to Baldwin Mississippi and visit Mississippi's Final Stands Interperative Site. It tells the story of the intertwined battles of Tupelo and Brice's Crossroads. The volunteers are very... Unless you're a real Civil War fanatic, it's not worth the detour off the Trace to see it. Less than a city block, a couple of canon, a couple of headstones, a couple of monuments and a single informational board.

Not much to see. We didn't even get out of the car. We just pulled up on the side of the street and looked at it from our vehicle while we decided on our next destination. No parking, either.

Whoever saved this little last bit of history whouls be praised. IT seems asthough America is whiping it's histpry away. This was a very important part of the battle for Independence and it's almost gone.

This was one of the saddest national parks I've been to. While I understand that it is a part of Civil War history (hence a two instead of a one rating), all it is is a plot of land across a car wash with a flag and a standing memorial. There is one billboard that briefly explains the site and... More

I kinda expected more from a national battlefield. This is actually just an acre lot across from a car wash. It has a memorial and a couple of cannons. Only recommend this if you are doing an entire Civil War tour.

We are National park fans and visit as many as we can. While little more than an acre, it's still interesting to learn about these important civil war battles. The city has grown around the battlefield but the memorial is good.

On only a acre of land bit it all ties in to the last few battles of the war. Only a few miles north to the Brice's Crossing battlefield where the Gen Forest met Sherman's flank.

Was doing a tour of the battlefields in the area. Nice monument very small and wish there was a visitor center located near by. Compared to others this was very disappointing.
