This is one of the oldest cemeteries in Topeka. There are a lot of local historical figures buried here, even some above ground crypts. A must-see if you're into local history. Some local ghost tours make a stop here too.

This site gets an excellent rating because the place is so obviously historical and fascinating. Unfortunately, some areas have been vandalized throughout the years and that is distressing to see. Aside from that, it is an educational and beautiful place.

The Topeka Cemetery is a large cemetery that is full of beautiful old headstones, statues & mausoleums. Many of Topeka's founders and prominent citizens are buried here, including former Vice President of the United States Charles Curtis.
