I visited Balboa Park on a hot summer’s afternoon. I loved the atmosphere and spent a lot of time at the Mexican art village, which is highly recommended, with many artist’s studios. Another highlight and an absolute must-see is the Botanical Building.

Loved visiting the tower and museum. You feel as if you are in Spain when you are here. It's so beautiful and you can spend the entire day roaming around or sitting and relaxing.

My girlfriend Carol was having a birthday so we went to the Prado for lunch. The food was outstanding and the service was very good as well. The portions were so big we both had leftovers. Highly, highly recommend the Prado.

Can’t say enough good things about this wonderful place. Gorgeous landscape, SD Zoo, multiple high quality museums, historic architecture, and much to see and do for free. If you can’t find something you love here, maybe just stay home.
