Many things to see, museums, art and galleries, well worth a look but give yourself plenty of time, a bit of distance between venues.

We came to the park on a Sunday and we're not disappointed. There was quite a lot going on and I'm sure we didn't experience near everything. A few of the highlights: arriving early and having very few other people around Hearing the Spreckels organ Walking around the botanic gardens People watching Walking around the Spanish village art center Walking... We just visited the botanic garden and walk along the museums. This is a very wonderful place to visit alone, with your significant one or with family. There are several restaurants nearby you can enjoy after the visit.

We got to drive through this gem on The Old Town Trolley Tour and it is on our bucket list to go back to San Diego and spend quality time there! It is overwhelmingly beautiful!

There are a bunch of activities you can do at the balboa park. When I visited it they were preparing for the December lights. There were small shops of many countries selling their specialities.

We enjoyed going to the "park" as I called it as a kid growing up in San Diego. Today it is the same, with all kinds of activities going on every weekend. The only drawback is that now there appears to be many homeless people hanging around! If you come to San Diego, go to Balboa Park, see the old... More

This park reminds me of Spain. The buildings full of statues, and intricate ornaments, make any walk in this park a great one. The trees, the artists, the ponds, and the buildings are so peaceful and worth the visit.

There are a lot of museums for all ages in this big green park. The venue for art, theatre and music performing. It needs more than one day to explore all of wonders and attractions in the list of this park. In December, it's place for celebrating holidays season and fair , like conutyfair. One disadvantage is not well organized... More
