We were not anticipating having such a great time at SeaWorld, but the park truly exceeded our expectations. First of all, we visited on a Tuesday in February, so there were not many people in the park. This translated to 5-minute wait times (if that much) on any given attraction, which was really awesome. The roller coasters were unique and... More

Had a nice visit with my family. The shows were jam packed so we decided to skip most of them and enjoyed all of the exhibits. Went on a ride or two but focused mostly on the exhibits, we really liked the turtle and penguin exhibits. The food was surprisingly good for a theme park. Had a good time at... More

This was a nice trip. However, the park looks old, like it needs a lot of rehabilitation work. I don't think that we will go back if we ever come back to San Diego.

Thank you for your feedback. I'm sorry that you feel our park looks outdated. Along with regular routine maintenance, we have several new exciting attractions planned for the coming months including: Orca Encounter, an all-new documentary-style killer whale presentation; Ocean Explorer, an all-new realm of deep sea discovery; and Electric Ocean, an all-new summer nighttime celebration. Please know that your... More

We took our granddaughters to Sea World and they loved it. So much to do for all ages. We all loved the shows and the girls really enjoyed the Pets Rule show. The kids loved Sesame Street Bay of Play. They had an area that was shaded with pads to crawl around on for our 17 month old. Beautiful day,... More

Seaworld is an amazing place whether you are anti-captivity or not. This is not the 1970s seaworld evil whale capturing empire. This park has enough positive and creative heart-felt good stuff to overcome that past. First they are in a constant state of upgrading, innovating, and nurturing for the animals as well as their admirers/visitors. PetsRule has some flat out... More

We went to Sea World because we love animals. I like that the park is trying to take away the fancy pants jumps spins and focusing more on educating people about the animals especially with the killer whales. I didn't enjoy the part of the dolphin show where the trainer actually stood on the backs of the dolphins. I thought... More

SeaWorld's generosity is unsurpassed in San Diego. They give their San Diego teachers Fun Cards and then have awesome freebies and seasonal attractions all year. Their employees are trained to teach tourists and locals about the sea creatures in their care. Every time we go I learn something new and experience something I haven't yet in the 10 years we've... After being to SeaWorld in Orlando this is definitely not as good. Very expensive and limited rides. I personally would stick with San Diego Zoo, much better value for money.

I took the family to Seaworld to give my children a chance to see the orcas while they can still be seen in captivity. My children enjoyed seeing the whales, but there were a lot of other things for a young family to see at Seaworld. We saw the dolphin show and my two year old was able to feed... More
