Nice area along the water, but with impending redevelopment merchants are leaving. Needs a facelift.

Great shopping area with lots of variety. Good way to spend a few hours. Safe. Good eating too, especially the Cheesecake Factory. Only bad thing is that they charge an extra 3% service tax on all purchases using a credit card.

This is a great spot to walk around and be close to the ocean. The shops are fun to go in but are extremely expensive. Look at the restaurants on yelp before going in as they are hit and miss.

How can you visit San Diego and not walk by the water or visit cute little shops? It's a must. There's a bunch of stores and walkways to just stroll with your family or a friend. Very casual.

Other than the parking problem, this is a great way to spend a few hours next to the water way and visit the various shops. It has been announced to the vendors that the historic Seaport Village will give way to 3 luxury hotels. It is a real shame to lose such a wonderful place to spend a few hours.

The Seaport Village was a nice area to walk around, had great views of the city and nice landscaping. However, all of the restaurants and shops were so overpriced, that it wouldn't be fun for long to stay there. My advice? walk around and then head to the gaslamp or little italy for a meal.

The Saturday morning fish market (08.00 a.m. to 01.00 p.m.)is a nice new attraction there. Local fishermen offer their fresh catch.

Rented a bike from the hotel and rode down to Seaport Village. Nice shops and restaurants on the water.

We stayed at a hotel right next to Seaport Village - loved the history and quaint stores you don't find anywhere else. The Cobblestone walk-ways are one of a kind along with the fountains and ponds with ducks. Great family place to enjoy food and walk along the water.
