Each month the Museum of Art holds an evening of Culture & Cocktails. The venue is certainly one of the best in San Diego for young and old alike. There's always music to dance to, tasty appetizers and bars serving interesting selections of beer, wine...More

A lovely small museum with works by Goya, Picasso, Renoir, Zuburan, Murillo, Dali, Degas, etc. The galleries are really lovely but had few visitors on a Monday morning. What a shame. This would be a great place to introduce your children or grandchildren to fine...More

If you only have time for one art museum while here in San Diego, the San Diego Museum of Art would be the one to see. If you time it right, you can sometimes see some superb travelling exhibits (unfortunately, there is an extra charge...More

Take 30 minutes or three hours to experience the regions oldest, largest and most visited art museum. I have been a member for many years, enjoy free admission and love to return often. Just outside the Panama 66 restaurant and bar offers a covered patio...More

This museum is on the small side, but the guided tour of 19th century art made it worthwhile. We were able to combine a morning of art in Balboa Park with an afternoon at the San Diego Zoo to round out a nice full day.
