We were staying at the Holiday on the Bay and this was a convenient meeting place at the train station for the tour. Tim is very knowledgeable about the area. He made sure everyone was taken care of. Visited many interesting places, check his web site for the different stops, I really like Mount Soledad and the Veterans Memorial. Learned... More

We live in Winchester, England but several times a year we visit our daughter who lives with her family in Colorado. When we come over we make a point of taking out to spend some time seeing other parts of the US. On this occasion we chose to visit San Diego which we thoroughly enjoyed and in our hotel we... More

I had planned at least a month in advance to take Tim's tour of La Jolla, but wasn't sure if I'd have the time. I'm so glad I managed to save my last full day in SD to book this tour! Tim is an incredibly nice and friendly guy who's like a walking encyclopedia of everything to do with SD!... More

Tim's tour was so good! He is a natural tour guide and very courteous and kind to everyone in the group (even those from Portugal who didn't stop talking while everyone was trying to hear his info). The main object of the tour was La Jolla, but along the way we were informed about the history and natural environment of... More

There was no tour designated for the day we wanted, so I emailed Tim and he obliged. Tim was very informative about everywhere we went. We learnt of the history of the area places to go etc. We went to Mt Soledad, where it can be quite cold. Unfortunately. the day we were there, it was quite overcast and view... More

Tim took us on a full day private tour which exceeded all of our expectations. He is extremely knowledgeable about not just La Jolla, but the entire San Diego county. We visited Mount Soledad, several beautiful and famous beaches, and Point Loma. Then, Tim took us east into the mountains for a completely different view of southern California. He took... More

We called Tim to book his tour and he answered the phone right away and gave us all the information we needed to feel comfortable about doing this tour. Today, we went on the La Jolla tour and it was raining ...then pouring...which is a rare in San Diego. In the morning, Tim called to let us know that the... More

We were met at the bus (16 seater) by the friendly driver Bill, and Tim our tour guide arrived right on time. We were soon off on a fascinating tour taking in some of the northern suburbs of San Diego including the Mount Solidad War Memorial, Torrey Pines and the picturesque town of La Jolla. Tim was knowledgeable, friendly and... More
