Was my first visit to Vinavanti with a friend and thoroughly enjoyed the service as well as the wine. Only wish we had more time to try other options! The Pinot Noir was excellent and there were other organic options available along with food choices.

Wonderful experience here sampling the wines (all organic) and the sampler plate. One of the owners was present and explained how the wines were made, and even a "tour" of the facilities.

We finally stopped into this neighborhood spot. Although the wait staff was running around, we could not get any service and had to go to the bar for drinks. The wine we got (GSM blend) was bland and tasted more like grape juice than real...More

This small urban winery charmed me from the moment I entered its rustic industrial space. Focused service, thoughtful plates, and solid wine resulted in a synergy that is hard to find. Apparently, this winery had recently moved to its current location-if you haven't been yet,...More

I had been wanting to check out this winery since it popped up in my neighborhood, but I never had a chance until now. It's a sweet gem, and definitely a welcome change from the 5-Dollar Outlet that had been there previously. I had Saturday...More

Fabulous Organic Winery. Eric, the winemaker is very knowledgeable and friendly. The wines are interesting and delicious. Great innovative menu, open, modern space. Lots of fun!

No sulfites = No headache! I especially love the Syrah, paired with their charcuterie plate. If you like whites or rose', they have it all- Served in flights of five wines for tasting, Vinavanti is the equivalent to craft brew for those who prefer wine....More

I had never heard of an "Urban Winery", nor did I have any idea what to expect, but anything with the word "wine" or "winery" in it is worth exploring, right? Glad I did. We had the luck to visit the first time when Eric...More

Had a great time with a large group. They did a great job of keeping us in drink and food and accommodating special requests. All the staff were nice and friendly and it's especially nice the owners are there and ready to explain.

This is an important first in San Diego -- an urban winery, wine bar, & restaurant with a tight focus on natural wine. A big step forward for our city and a place you must explore for wine education, tasting, great atmosphere, and good food.
